ジェイコブ・スティックス, Oberwolfach 2018

ジェイコブ・スティックス（Jakob Stix 1974年 - ）はドイツの数学者。ドイツ語の発音ではヤーコプ・シュティックス。 数論的代数幾何学（エタール基本群、遠アーベル幾何学など）を専門としている。

経歴

フライブルクとボンで数学を学び、2002年にフロリアン・ポップからボン大学で博士号を取得した(Projective Anabelian Curves in Positive Characteristic and Descent Theory for Log-Etale Covers）。論文は、ボン大学数学研究所によって2002年の最優秀博士論文として授与された。このとき、高等研究所の博士研究員だった。2008年、ハイデルベルク大学数学センターのジュニア研究グループリーダーに就任し、2011年に活動を終えた(Evidence for the section conjecture in the theory of arithmetic fundamental groups)。現在は、フランクフルト大学の教授である。
